What a family vault record is

A family vault record is a structured offline document set describing your household’s Ethereum addresses, stablecoin reserves, and heir procedures. It lives on paper and in files you control — not on a company’s server.

Binder anatomy

Tab A — Address index

Numbered list of public addresses, device labels, derivation-path notes (descriptive only), and last-verified balances. Each row includes a date column for quarterly updates.

Tab B — Stablecoin worksheet

Rows for USDT, USDC, and other pegged holdings with exchange name, account nickname, statement date, and hand-calculated totals. Internal transfers marked to prevent double counting.

Tab C — Heir instructions

Cover inventory sheet, recovery step order, contact tree, and blank pages for home safe sketches or attorney notes. Written in plain language for readers who do not trade daily.

Appendix — Quarterly tally sheets

Signed pages proving someone reviewed holdings each quarter — including explicit “no change” sign-offs.
